Google Trademark Changes
Going through some old emails and found the link to a Clickz article in which I was quoted about Google’s trademark policy changes last year. Thought I’d share for anyone reading the blog today.
Introducing…The Yahoo! Room
Big thanks to the folks at Yahoo! for presenting Outrider with the first-ever Yahoo! themed meeting room. Led by Kimi Henry the Yahoo! crew came to St. Louis last week and spent the entire day behind closed doors (and papered windows) decorating one of Outrider’s huddle rooms in the St. Louis HQ. Then after much anticipation we held a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 pm to unveil the Yahoo! crew’s hard work.
What awaited us was an awesome testimony to the strong partnership between Outrider and Yahoo!. The room was decked out with photos of Outrider and Yahoo! staff over the years, Yahoo! logos and even the infamous Yahoo! couch. (Outrider has to take credit for the purple paint though as we built out the purple huddle room 4 years ago.) A job well done by Kimi and team!
2008 International ECHO Awards
Back in October 2008, I had the privilege to head out to Las Vegas with my colleagues to attend the DMA’s International ECHO awards where Outrider received several awards for their search engine marketing work. I thought it would be fun to add this to my new blog now that I have it up and running. Oh, did I mention that Jay Leno was the MC for the evening. I can’t imagine what it was like for him to MC an event with a room full of direct marketers.
