Behind the Scenes with Mad Men
Came across this excellent behind the scenes video of a promotional photo shoot for Mad Men. What a great shoot concept for an amazing series.
Harry Potter Birthday Party
This weekend we had a birthday party for my daughter Libby who turned 10 years old this past week. The party however was far from your typical birthday party. Libby you see is a huge Harry Potter fan and she requested a Harry Potter themed party. So along with her Harry Potter costume we had magic potions, candies themed from the movie (including worms) and candles galore. It was a very cute party and Libby truly enjoyed herself. Now if she could only use a magic want to clean up her room….
My Blackberry Is Not Working

Pie Eating & Marketing
What does pie eating and marketing have to do with each other? Most of the time absolutely nothing. However, a few weeks ago Outrider had our company picnic and decided to add to the fun by hosting our first ever pie eating contest. It wasn’t quite a “Stand By Me” pie eating contest but everyone got into it and had a great time. We even had a father/son entry that proved hard to beat. I hope you enjoy the video and the lighter side of marketing.
2008 International ECHO Awards
Back in October 2008, I had the privilege to head out to Las Vegas with my colleagues to attend the DMA’s International ECHO awards where Outrider received several awards for their search engine marketing work. I thought it would be fun to add this to my new blog now that I have it up and running. Oh, did I mention that Jay Leno was the MC for the evening. I can’t imagine what it was like for him to MC an event with a room full of direct marketers.
